On December 14, 2019, El Refugio de Potosi will host an Audubon “Bird Count” of the region of Barra de Potosi, Playa Blanca, Guerrero.
The goal is to assess the number and species of birds in the region to build an information base. (Past years counts can be seen here.)
Thetabulated information will be sent to Audubon and any other groups that have an interest in maintaining monitoring records for our region. This is an annual event. If you could not join us last year….plan to now for the next.
We are encouraging anyone with an interest in birds, conservation, the outdoors, the region… to participate. It is not necessary that you are a skilled birder. Please join us! Encourage your friends and visitors to join in the activities. This is a great chance to see another part of the real Mexico. (Information Sheet - PDF)
